ANIMUNDI
ANIMUNDI
Jyotisha, the science of light: the Indian stellar map that reads your birth chart according to the real constellations (Sidereal), the 27 Nakshatras and the 9 planets of the Navagraha.
Enter ANIMUNDIVedic Astrology was born in the sacred texts of India, thousands of years ago. It is not prediction: it is a grammar of time, a way to read the karmic rhythm each soul brings to this life. ANIMUNDI accompanies you in your Janma Kundali — the birth chart — and in planetary transits, offering contemplative interpretations, not determinisms.
Two skies, two languages. Here are the key points that distinguish Jyotisha from the tropical astrology we are used to in Europe.
Sidereal Zodiac: follows the real constellations, not the seasons. Your Vedic Sun may be a sign different from the Western one.
27 Nakshatras: the 'lunar mansions' that divide the sky into 27 sectors of 13°20' each. The Moon crosses one Nakshatra per day.
9 Planets: the 7 classical ones (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn) plus Rahu and Ketu, the karmic lunar nodes.
Dasha: planetary periods of variable length (6-20 years) that activate different areas of life in karmic sequence.
The Janma Kundali is the celestial imprint at the moment of your birth.
By entering exact date, time and place, ANIMUNDI calculates your complete Vedic map: Lagna (ascendant), Rashi (moon sign), birth Nakshatra, position of the 9 planets in the 12 houses, aspects and dignities. Each element becomes a threshold to understand your gifts and the trials your soul has chosen to cross.

The sky in motion over your birth chart.
Gochara, the transits, show how the moving planets activate the houses and Nakshatras of your birth chart. Saturn crossing your Moon (Sade Sati), Jupiter in the career house, Mercury retrograde slowing down words: each passage is an invitation to attune to a rhythm larger than our own.
Vedic Astrology uses the sidereal zodiac (real constellations) while Western uses the tropical zodiac (seasons). The difference is about 23-24 degrees (Ayanamsa), so your Vedic Sun is often in a different sign. Vedic also includes the 27 Nakshatras, the lunar nodes Rahu/Ketu and the Dasha planetary periods, absent in the Western tradition.
No, not in a deterministic sense. Jyotisha describes karmic tendencies, not written destinies. ANIMUNDI uses it as a self-knowledge tool: understanding which areas of life are 'lit up' in a given period, where opportunities open, where more patience is needed. Choice and free will always remain yours.
Time is important because it determines the Lagna (ascendant), which changes every ~2 hours. If you don't know it precisely, ANIMUNDI can still calculate a 'solar' chart based on date and place, which offers useful information even without exact time. For deeper readings, the birth Nakshatra (based on the Moon) requires only date and approximate place.
Vedic Astrology has roots in Hinduism but has spread as a universal symbolic language. ANIMUNDI presents it as a contemplative and cultural tool, not religious. People of any faith (or without faith) can use it as a mirror to understand their own inner rhythms. No conversion or adherence required.
